iRZ developed a new ATM3-485 3G Communicator
21.10.2014iRZ has developed a new ATM3-485 3G Communicator which continues a series of multipurpose ATM modems. The ATM3-485 communicator holds all the benefits of ATM2-485, but as compared to the previous versions, ATM3-485 supports the third-generation communication standards (HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS). Moreover, the modem offers increased reliability and fault tolerance.
ATM3-485 enables automatic communication (with no AT-command input) and connection maintenance. For the device easy configuration and software updating, the specialized software ATM Control is delivered; it is available for download on our web site.
The new ATM3-485 3G communicator has the following features, which compare favorably with other competitive models:- operation in client or server mode;
- support for operation with a redundant IP address or redundant server (in client mode), and connection to the secondary servers to verify connection (in server mode);
- provides simultaneous operation with four servers;
- dual SIM card support;
- sending SMS message to a specified number in case of disconnection;
- connection to the server by SMS command and via GPRS;
- multiple communication modes - always connected, operation on schedule, communication on ring or by SMS command to the modem;
- supports switch to a standby mode (operation without GPRS connection) when no data transmitted, as well as on ring or by sending SMS message to the modem;
- automatic status tracking of the GSM module and two types of watchdog timers for protection against hangup;
- GPIO management by SMS commands;
- sending SMS message to a specified number by GPIO signals;
- backup communication channel via CSD;
- easy configuration of most modems with similar parameters;
- fault tolerance when updating of embedded software;
- wide operating temperature range and compact-size case.
