New iRZ ATM2-232 GSM/GPRS modem
06.03.2013iRZ has developed a new GSM/GPRS modem, which automatically (without entering special AT commands) establishes and maintains a connection with the server indicated in its settings. Configuring, firmware upgrading and testing of the modem are all performed using the software with a GUI interface through the Mini USB modem interface.
Besides this, the new ATM2-232 GSM/GPRS modem offers the following advantages:
- Possibility to work with a backup IP address of the server or with a backup server
- Work with two SIM cards
- Text sent to a specified number when the connection to the server is lost
- SMS controlled connection to the server
- Different modes of connection to the server (always connected, work on schedule, and connection on a call to the modem)
- Possibility to enter the standby mode (operation without GPRS connection) when there is no data transmission, as well as on a call to the modem
- Fault tolerance during firmware upgrading
- Automatic GSM module state tracking, plus two types of watchdog timers for protection against hangups
- RS232 communication interface plus three GPIOs, including high-current output (up to 500mA) with the possibility of power supply to external equipment
- SMS controlled state of the primary outputs
- Text sent to a specified number by the signals from the primary outputs
- Easy setup of multiple modems with identical parameters
- Support of the iRZ Collector server software
- Remote configuration and firmware upgrades when working with iRZ Collector
- Wide operating temperature range
