iRZ Company has started to develop the new АТМ3-232 and АТМ3-485 modems. The series of these modems is an analogue of the ATM2 series, but it holds an essential distinction in data transmission technology. Unlike the ATM2 series using only 2G technology for data transmission, the modems of the new series support both 2G and 3G networks. Batch data transmission by means of 2G networks has less priority than by voice channel, that is why some disruptions of communication take place. The 3G technology enables to solve this problem, as the allocated frequency band is used here for data transmission. Sufficiently high- speed data transmission is an apparent merit of 3G networks.

With the development of technology more reliable and high-speed data transmission methods are required. And 3G telecommunication networks meet this requirement. That is why iRZ Company permanently expands the model range using new technologies.

The design of the АТМ3 series modems is in no different from the well-known АТМ2 series. Setting and operation procedure is similar. The modems of the ATM3 series are to be released in the first half of 2014.
