TC65i-485GI is a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM modem intended for data transmission via cellular communication networks. It supports GPRS class 12 and TCP/IP protocol stack. Modem has communication interface RS485. Connection to this interface is carried out through terminal connector which allows parallel connection of several external devices. TJ6-6P6C connector is used for the modem power supply. The lines provided in the terminal connector can be used to power the external device. Programming mode and menu mode can be used for updating software file or change operating parameters. The modem is controlled by standard AT-commands. The main feature of TC65i-485GI is Java™ Virtual Machine support which makes it possible to execute java-applications developed for special tasks. TC65i-485GI can be used as the off-line unit and it essentially simplifies the system architecture. TC65i-485GI is intended for use in telemechanic and telemetering systems, security and alarm systems, as well as in other systems in which wireless data transmission is required.
