The new model’s distinguishing feature is a demountable moisture-proof case. A customer can personally replace the device battery. The beacon can operate with a preinstalled MTS SIM card, as well as with a customer’s one. The preinstalled SIM card having been replaced, FindMe F2 operates with any selected service and can be controlled directly from the owner’s phone (SMS command mode).

The beacon removable back cover considerably adds functionality. Besides the base cover, FindMe F2 is provided with a magnetic cover enabling to fix the device to a metal surface. It increases opportunity for the beacon effective concealment. In a short time a cover suitable for the connection to a car's lighter socket will be available. It will allow to use the device as a mini-tracker, as well as to refuse applying the disposable batteries.

Moreover, a new version of the device is supplied with a built-in accelerometer enabling an owner to receive information about a vehicle’s start with the coordinates of its location and thus conserving a battery power in “search” mode.
